Yoshi's Cafe (3257 N. Halsted St., 773-248-6160) will host a special four-course sake dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The dinner was hurriedly put together when chef/owner Yoshi Katsumura learned that Koji Kawakami, the 19th-generation owner of Yoshinogawa Sake Brewery in Japan, would be in Chicago this week.
Kawakami will be present at the dinner and will pour four of his brewery's sakes to accompany four courses by Katsumura.
Cost is $75, not including tax and tip. Reservations strongly suggested.
