Stewart is more entrenched than Gus Frerotte in Cincinnati or Chris Redman in Baltimore. More is expected of Stewart than of Cleveland or Tim Couch, the franchise and quarterback both starting only their fourth seasons.

Stewart has improved his decision-making and knows when to buy time and when to take off. Accuracy is the one area left, the area toughest to mask or to change. Inaccurate throwers don't last regardless of other skills.
