Last week was wild when it came to scholarship offers for a handful of Class of 2014 players, as more schools outside the Midwest are discovering Illinois this winter.
Crete-Monee inside linebacker Nyles Morgan picked up offers from USC, Arizona and Texas Tech. What will it take for Morgan to commit to one of the 22 schools that have offered?

"It'll come down to interest level in them, their interest level in me, my comfort level," Morgan said. "Academics are important, and I want a football team that's on the rise. I'll wait until after my senior season to commit, probably close to signing day."
De La Salle OT Jamarco Jones added offers from Arizona and Arkansas last week, bringing his total to 27.
Westphal, Weishar visit Northwestern: Northwestern played hoste to Bolingbrook DB Parrker Westphal and Marist TE Nic Weishar over the weekend. Both have made multiple visits to Evanston. This time they stayed overnight before attending a practice Saturday.
"I really like how well the coaches interact with the players in practice," Weishar said. "I also like how the players work out in groups and position so they can all get individual attention from the strength coaches. I was able to learn a lot more about the players at Northwestern and I wanted to see where I fit in with them"
Westphal also enjoyed his visit.
"I like what Northwestern has to offer in the long run," Westphal said. "They also have a ton of coaching stability. Coach (Jerry) Brown has been there 21 years, and that alone is impressive."
Minnesota offers Notre Dame's Jones: Minnesota coach Jerry Kill surprised Notre Dame junior RB Chris James with an offer last week.
"I really have had no real contact until they called my head coach (Mike Hennessey) and he told me to call back coach (Jeff Phelps)," James said. "It's great to get that kind of surprise, and I'm excited about the offer."
Minnesota also offered Mount Carmel junior defensive tackle Steve Richardson last week, joining Northern Illinois on his list.
Speaking of offers: Montini junior defensive end Nile Sykes added offers last week from Iowa State, Cincinnati and Western Michigan. Sykes spent Saturday as a return visitor to Illinois.
"My relationship with the coaches at Illinois is getting better each time I go down there," Sykes said. "I feel more and more comfortable."
Sykes has offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Northern Illinois, Purdue, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Extra point: Neuqua Valley junior WR Mike Dudek on Monday morning added his first Big Ten offer, from Illinois. Dudek was in Champaign for an unofficial visit Saturday.
"I like it a lot at Illinois," Dudek said. "It just feels right when I'm there, and the new receiver coach (Mike Bellamy) made a great first impression on me."
