The Johnstown Branch NAACP will hold its 27th Annual Interfaith Remembrance Program Celebrating the Life and Work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, 351 Second Ave., Conemaugh. Guest Speaker will be Dr. Leah P. Hollis, Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar, author, and president of the Patricia Berkly LLC Group. Also on Monday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m., there will be a Martin Luther King Day of Service Youth Workshop at Mt. Sinai Church Fellowship Hall. Dr. Hollis will conduct the workshop, and music will be provided by several local choirs. Alan Cashaw, Johnstown NAACP's President, will give remarks. Rev. Richard Williams is in charge of the service. A Social Hour along with food and refreshments will follow the program. The Service is open to everyone in the community.
