WINDBER -—
A unique holiday show, Jingle Bell Rock, will be at the Arcadia Theater, 1418 Graham Ave., Windber, at 8 p.m. Dec. 17. The show promises to be a holiday event featuring a talented cast of musicians and singers, said Frank Cunsolo, the executive director and chairman of the board of directors. "This show is for kids one to 92," he said.
This is a brand new musical holiday review that is all live with a bit of Saturday Night Live. The show is full of music and a lot of comedy," he said. "They will be performing over 35 songs."
The show features "a hilarious send up of 'It's a Wonderful Life' in two minutes flat. Can you imagine that?" asked Cunsolo. The group will touch on everyone's favorite, "A Christmas Carol" and the classic TV feature, "Suzy Snowflake." The main man himself, old Santa Claus, will make an appearance during the show.
Cunsolo said that they found out about the show approximately two years ago through the submittal of a performance DVD.
"It is by far one of the most phenomenal presentations of a holiday show that we have ever had in the Arcadia Theater," he said. "The show is humorous and will be a definite hit with the crowd."
For tickets, call the Arcadia Theater at 814-467-9070, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
