3. How the Peeps biz stays fresh (since the chicks don't have to)

We’re not really sure why Sunday is referred to as “Easter.” It’d be so much more accurate to refer to it as “The Day Everyone Eats Far Too Many Peeps.”
We’re not really sure why Sunday is referred to as “Easter.” It’d be so much more accurate to refer to it as “The Day Everyone Eats Far Too Many Peeps.” We kid. After all, that name probably applies to most days for...

5. Mike and Ike: Parting is such sweet (and maybe lucrative) sorrow

The pair's split, like many high-profile break-ups, has been public and messy.
The pair's split, like many high-profile break-ups, has been public and messy. Mike and Ike, a staple at movie theater concession stands and grocery store check-outs, called it quits. The announcement came through the candy's Facebook page last week,...

7. Peep Art: A conversation with the Princess of Peeps

Daily Dish
Springtime is Peeps time. For some people that means gobbling up the squishy sugar birds and bunnies that pop up in the supermarkets each Easter. For others, it’s become a tradition to submit Peep dioramas, paintings and sculptures to the......

13. Doling out Easter candy to the Lakers

By this time, kids have either devoured their Easter candy or parents have hidden away the baskets to avoid Easter Sunday bellyaches. Maybe they'd like to sneak a bite of chocolate bunny themselves. Plenty of Lakers -- namely Lamar Odom -- would likely...

21. Grilled cheese as far as the eye could see

Daily Dish

23. Macarons: New to the Easter parade this year

Call me a heretic, but I've been thinking it's about time the Easter Bunny spruced up his product line. Eggs are fine and Peeps are cute, but as Thumper's 21st century image consultant, I'd advise he hop on the French macaron trend. He wouldn't even have to change the colors in his paint box: Macarons come in every shade imaginable and some yet to be imagined. And although there's no chicken-and-egg riddle surrounding them, macarons have their own mysteries.
