Baker Sara Heslington of Heslington Cakes in Corona del Mar estimates that she spent 120 hours creating a cake that represents the Chinese garden at Huntington Botanical Gardens in Pasadena. Good thing she loves making sugar flowers. Her cake and several others that were made to resemble Los Angeles landmarks such as the Capitol Records Building and La Brea Tar Pits were created for a gala for Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. They were transported to Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills where they will be on display Friday through Sunday.
