  11. Woman Accomplice in Franklin County Bank Robbery Charged

    A West Virginia woman has been charged for her role in a Franklin County bank robbery.  It happened on September 22, 2011 at the Farmers & Merchants Bank branch on the 800 block of Wayne Avenue in Chambersburg. The robbery suspect, later identified as 42 year old  Michael Silver, armed with a handgun walked into the bank and demanded money. He fled with some money. Silver had robbed the same bank back in 2003.  Investigators determined that 28 year old Christina Leonard of Martinsburg, West Virigina drove Silver to the bank and fled with him out of state after the robbery.
