The late Marvin Hamlisch received a tribute Tuesday evening in New York that drew a number of friends and collaborators from the worlds of theater, music and movies. The roster of attendees to the invitation-only event included Barbra Streisand, Neil Simon, Carol Bayer Sager, Liza Minnelli and Aretha Franklin. Hamlisch died unexpectedly in Los Angeles last month at the age of 68. Tuesday's tribute took place at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater at the Juilliard School at Lincoln Center.
