Kevin Bellie, the longtime artistic director at the Circle Theatre, is exiting his post.
Bellie said Monday that he had directing projects lined up with other theater companies in the city. "Circle is headed in a new direction next year," Bellie said.
Circle, a small but well respected non-Euqity company, performed for years in Forest Park. More recently, it had moved operations to 100 W. Madison St. in Oak Park.
Bellie's last show is a new production of the musical "Pippin," replete with a Bollywood theme. It opens Nov. 14.
