Kristin Chenoweth cancels sold-out Chicago concert

The Broadway and TV star Kristin Chenoweth has canceled her concert scheduled for Saturday night at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in downtown Chicago.

The promoter, Jam Theatricals, said in a statement Saturday afternoon that Chenoweth was ill. All tickets to the concert were sold out. Refunds will be available through point of purchase.  Chenoweth is slated to perform in Minneapolis on Sunday night; as of Saturday afternoon, those tickets were still on sale.

A Jam spokesman said that the intention was to reschedule the concert "this month," and that tickets would be valid for the new date. "Hopefully," the spokesman said, "we will be able to make an announcement on Monday or Tuesday."
