(2001). Kidman, a winner the following year for "The Hours," has had a string of near misses ("The Interpreter") and downright flops ("The Invasion") since then. While Jude Law, as her love interest in "Cold Mountain" (2003), got a nod and supporting player <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB004041" title="Renee Zellweger" href="/topic/entertainment/movies/renee-zellweger-PECLB004041.topic">Renee Zellweger</a> won, Kidman was snubbed. Now, with this, the most expensive movie made Down Under, she could be back in the running.
