LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- President Barack Obama is set to leave Los Angeles Tuesday after attending two fundraisers for his 2012 re-election campaign.
Air Force One touched down at LAX at about 4:40 p.m. Monday and the President then made his way to the Westside. Several streets in the area were shut down ahead of time.
No major traffic problems were reported, however, commuters faced a longer-than-usual commute during rush hour.
Obama first headed to the House of Blues for a benefit concert at 4:30 p.m. hosted by "Modern Family" actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson. As many as 1,500 people were expected to attend the event.
The sold-out concert, with tickets ranging from $250 to $10,000, featured performances from B.o.B., Adam 12 and the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles.
Protestors stood outside the venue, chanting against the war in Afghanistan and accusing Obama of making broken promises.
Inside, Obama's speech was interrupted by a heckler, who shouted "Jesus Christ is God!" and was promptly escorted out of the venue by Secret Service agents. The crowd drowned out the heckler by repeatedly chanting, "Four more years!"
As the heckler was led away, he shouted to Obama, "You're the antichrist!"
The President then traveled to Fig & Olive on Melrose for a private fundraiser at 6 p.m., where the price per plate was a whopping $17, 900 per person.
DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenburg, actors Jack Black and Danny DeVito, actress Rhea Perlman, producer Jon Landau, director Judd Apatow, music producer Quincy Jones, and Calif. Gov. Jerry Brown were among the A-list names in attendance at the dinner.
Streets in the area have since reopened with the exception of San Vicente Boulevard, from Santa Monica Boulevard to Melrose Avenue, which was expected to remain closed through noon Tuesday.
Obama's visit to the area in August 2010 caused what drivers described as a traffic nightmare on the Westside.
Meantime, authorities are investigating a vandalism attack against Obama's campaign office in West Los Angeles.
Obama was expected to leave Los Angeles for Denver Tuesday morning.
