    A rose garden for dad. <strong>Christine Sopczyn-ski, </strong>of South Bend, has been elated about her rose garden on Westmoor Street, near Kennedy School. Chris said the garden was started by her father, <strong>Ben</strong>, in the mid-1940s. Her father was an accomplished rosarian and a judge. Ben and his wife, <strong>Bernice,</strong> took special pride in their west-side yard.
