  8. 'Funny People'

    Baltimore Sun
When Judd Apatow put his producer-promoter's hat on to publicize Jake Kasdan's very funny (and underrated) parody of biopics, "Walk Hard," he said that it was "fun to make fun of movies that reek of the filmmakers' belief that they were going to win the...

  10. Movie review: The Time Traveler's Wife -- 4 out of 5 stars

Clare's jaw drops the moment she spies Henry, and it's not just love at first sight. Clare knows Henry, even if he doesn't recognize her. She's met him many times over the years. And his visits to the meadow on her family's estate turned him into her ideal man -- tall, dark and handsome.

Frankly My Dear» Orlando Sentinel – Frankly My Dear

  18. 'Lucky You'

"Lucky You" is a movie about poker, romance and families and, luckily for us, writer-director Curtis Hanson has a feeling for all three. It's an entertaining movie; Hanson, the director of "L.A. Confidential" and "Wonder Boys," and co-writer Eric Roth get us into their alternative world of poker and luck with a good card player's easy skill. They build it around a character called Huck Cheever (Eric Bana), who initially seems like a figure of pure fantasy and wish fulfillment, a glib, energetic hunk of a guy who plays poker and women with what seems equal skill, but not always good results. And they make him live.

  20. Es un pájaro...es un avión.... ¡No!
