The longtime home of Robert B. Sherman, who wrote songs for many memorable animated films, has sold in Beverly Hills for $9.4 million. The stately two-story had come on the market in late November at $9.95 million. Built in 1924 and later expanded, the house blends French provincial and Hollywood Regency styles in its 8,152 square feet of open-plan living space. High ceilings, walls of glass and a mirror-backed bar are among interior details. Dining and living rooms, a bonus room, a den and a breakfast room are among the interior spaces.
