  23. The Amazing Spider-Man

This reboot of Spider-Manisn't so amazing. It's rather unnecessary, considering the Sam Raimi pictures were just five years ago and this story was the same as his first one 10 years ago. That means we get no surprises. We knew Uncle Ben (hey...before you laugh at that name, the director of this is Marc Webb) would die when we saw this story the first time, but it still surprises you. It doesn't in this one. And, don't even get me started on the casting of Sally Field and Martin Sheen as those characters. Aside from one scene where Field gives him a hard time for putting bowling trophies on the table, or Sheen lectures Peter Parker the way he should've his own son Charlie Sheen…I just think well known actors in those parts bring baggage to the role.
