  1. Adrian Belew Power Trio w/ Stick Men at Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton

    Prog rock is a guilty pleasure. But every so often you need to dust off those Gentle Giant LPs and wave your nerd flag high. Here's a good excuse: Adrian Belew and Tony Levin, who joined Robert Fripp's King Crimson 30 years ago for the <em>Discipline</em> album, are in Northampton Saturday night. First, Levin, Markus Rueter, and Pat Mastelotto (another current Crim) will play a set as Stick Men, followed by Belew's Power Trio (with Julie Slick and Tobias Ralph). Levin, Mastelotto and Belew will then do a trio set of Crimson tunes, followed by all six musicians doing some double trio stuff.
