9. Béla Fleck and the Flecktones and Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers at SS&C Summerwind

It's the end of the summer (sadly), and what better way to ride it out than to one last outdoor show? Back in the early '90s, Béla Fleck was the most celebrated mulleted banjo dude around, and he was smart enough to surround himself with formidable musical warriors: bassist Victor Wooten, pianist/harmonica player Howard Levy and electro-drummer Roy “Future Man” Wooten. Levy left the fold for awhile, but now he's back, and the Flecktones are touring in support of a new release called Rocket Science. (Oh, Bruce Hornsby's on the bill too, but Gregg Allman had to back out.)
