The Go-Go's

Three decades later the Go-Go's are keeping the '80s beat that made them the first all-female band to make it to the top of the Billboard charts. "We Got the Beat," "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "Vacation" play like nostalgia now, but you can't stop the fun. The original quintet (Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock and Kathy Valentine) is still rocking the house.

Why go: They just don't make all-female rock bands the way they used to.

Reconsider: The Go-Go's are no Taste of Honey.
