Spring Awakening festival expands inside Soldier Field

The Spring Awakening Music Festival scheduled for June 16-17 is expanding inside Soldier Field to meet ticket demand, promoters will announce Tuesday.

The two-day event, which includes headliners Skrillex and Afrojack and dozens more DJs and electronic-dance music artists, will now be held on three stages on the south side of the stadium with a main stage inside, promoters React Presents and the Congress Theater say.

Tickets ($119.99 for a two-day pass) are on sale at clubtix.com. Daily capacity at the event is listed at 30,000.
