Fresh off a long tour with Emmylou Harris, Will Kimbrough will take to the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Bena Country Store and Almost Square Framing in Hayes. Kimbrough was named top Americana instrumentalist in 2004, an honor held the previous three years by legendary dobro player Jerry Douglas. He's kept company with all the big names in Texas folk-rock, including Guy Clark and Billy Joe Shaver. "...On stage, he can charm a crowd whether fronting a band, or playing solo. That is why you see his songs on my albums and his face on our stage," says Jimmy Buffett. Tickets to the show are $15.
