    <span style="font-size: small;">It&rsquo;s no surprise that George Strait is in high demand, especially after announcing his final full production show &ndash; The Cowboy Rides Away Tour. The country icon managed to sell-out six tour markets within the first few hours of tickets going on sale last week. George knows he has a special following &ndash; especially those who have been by his side since day one. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve had great fans &ndash; they&rsquo;ve been so loyal over the years. I&rsquo;ll see fans sometimes that have come out during the &lsquo;80s and they&rsquo;re still coming out. That&rsquo;s pretty special.&rdquo; George will kick off The Cowboy Rides Away Tour in Lubbock, Texas on January 18th. Seats for that show were snatched up within 15 minutes, as all 15,431 tickets sold.</span>

    <span style="font-size: small;">George Strait revealed at a press conference in Nashville that he&rsquo;ll embark on his final two-year tour in 2013. "It&rsquo;s been a...hard decision for me to make...But, as far as the touring goes, I&rsquo;ve decided that I&rsquo;m not gonna tour anymore after these next two years.&rdquo; The Cowboy Rides Away tour will begin on January 18th in Lubbock, Texas and feature special guest Martina McBride. &ldquo;King George&rdquo; says this isn&rsquo;t retirement, as he plans to continue recording new music and playing select dates once the tour wraps up.   8. Dierks Bentley's Father Dies

    <span style="font-size: small;">Dierks Bentley&rsquo;s father, Leon Bentley, passed away on in Phoenix at the age of 88. Dierks shared with fans on Twitter, &ldquo;It was an honor to comfort him as he left us. Thank you, fans, for the time and understanding.&rdquo; Dierks had already canceled a performance on Saturday night in Washington, D.C. due to his father&rsquo;s illness. Wednesday&rsquo;s fan club party in Nashville has been canceled as well. Dierks says his dad was one of the main reasons he got into playing country music. &ldquo;My dad's my biggest influence in country music, because my dad loved country radio, so we always drove around listening to country radio &ndash; George Strait and Hank Williams and Randy Travis and all those guys. So, without him, I wouldn't be doing this, for sure.&rdquo; Dierks plans to resume his performance schedule on June 9th.</span>
