Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson bought a mansion in Farmington for $2.8 million in 1996. He tried to sell it for $22 million, then lost it in a divorce settlement. Tyson's boxing career spanned from 1985 until 2005. The mansion was later owned by rapper 50 Cent.
