'Outlander' costume designer talks about importance of a wedding gown

"Outlander" costume designer Terry Dresbach has to dress the cast in clothing from two eras -- post-World War II England and Scotland in the 1700s. The 1700s-era wedding gown she made for series star Caitriona Balfe's reluctant marriage had to do more than just be a dress, Dresbach tells writer Whitney Friedlander at Variety. "We had to make it so impossibly romantic that we could believe that our heroine and our hero could just fall in love so completely at that moment."
