March 9: 'John Carter'

On the one hand, "John Carter" doesn't look totally different from "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," especially when noting the similarity of the haircuts sported by Jake Gyllenhaal in "Persia" and Taylor Kitsch in "Carter." But it¿s great to see Kitsch ("Friday Night Lights," the upcoming "Battleship") landing a starring role, and hopefully director Andrew Stanton ("Wall-E," "A Bug's Life") can prove his skills with live action as well as "The Incredibles" director Brad Bird did with "Mission: Impossible--Ghost Protocol."
