<B>Phyllis Kirk, star of 3-D classic <i>House of Wax</i>, Oct. 19</B><BR> Actress Phyllis Kirk, who played the raven-haired beauty stalked by Vincent Price in the 1953 3-D horror classic <i>House of Wax</i>, died on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, in Woodland Hills, Calif. She was 79. She is also well-known for her role as Nora Charles in the late 1950s television series <i>The Thin Man</i> with Peter Lawford playing her husband.
