1. This Guy Should Be the Next Pope

Right now Cardinals from around the world are meeting at a conclave to get high on thurible smoke and rock out to that “Our God is an Awesome God” song over and over. Then when that’s done, they’ll hold a Mortal Kombat tournament to determine the new Pope. Oh, don’t let the liberal media fool you, that’s how the process works. Anyway, they are down to 20 Pope finalists, but my favorite is Luis Antonio “Chito” Tagle of the Philippines. He’s one of the youngest candidates at 55, he’s got a huge following on social media, he’s funny, and he was voted the “least worst” candidate when it comes to covering up sex abuse. (True story.) He’s Asian, which is nice what with China taking over the world and all. And he sings! Here’s him singing a song called “You and I,” which sadly is not a Lady Gaga cover. Plus he speaks 5 languages, so as the mouthpiece of God, he’ll save God a fortune on Rosetta Stone DVDs. More, from NBC News:

4. Donald Trump talks religion, success, and presidential politics at Liberty University

You're more likely to hear a sharp criticism than praise from Donald Trump, but the real estate mogul has nothing but nice things to say about Liberty University.

You're more likely to hear a sharp criticism than praise from Donald Trump, but the real estate mogul has nothing but nice things to say about Liberty University. "It's an amazing university," said Trump. "All over the world they're talking about...

6. Actor right about same-sex marriage

I find it interesting that Kirk Cameron's recent remarks about gay and lesbian marriage were described as "even more outdated than his 1980's TV character" by GLAAD Senior Director of Programs Herndon Graddick. Outdated or not, it seems to me that...

10. 'Teen Wolf' director's brutally honest commentary

Say the last time you walked out during a movie was 20 years ago, and say that movie you could no longer put up with was an interminable comedy named "The Super." Joe Pesci plays a slumlord, ordered by a court to live in one of his own questionable buildings and learn valuable life lessons; though, of course, it's hard to say whether Pesci learned many of those life lessons because you left after 45 tedious minutes. Say there was only one other time you walked out of a movie, and that was two years before "The Super." The movie was named "K-9" — something about Jim Belushi and a police dog.

12. ‘Courageous’ leading weekend movie ticket pre-sales

Frankly My Dear - Orlando Sentinel
Most of the outreach that the folks marketing Sherwood Pictures' “Courageous” have been doing has been aimed at churches, and that is paying off on fandango.com, Harry Medved says. It's leading the pre-sales race for this weekend's new...
