Funnyman Will Ferrell began his career in comedy with the Los Angeles comedy group The Groundlings, which led to his SNL discovery.

In 2003, Ferrell gained movie stardom with the release of his hit holiday comedy, "Elf." He also starred in a slew of other popular comedies, including "Old School," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."
