'Walt and El Grupo' and 'Saludos Amigos'

Friday, Sept. 11<br> 7:30 p.m.<br> <br> A panel discussion will explore the new documentary "Walt and El Grupo," a film that reveals the little-known story of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEHST002298" title="Walt Disney" href="/topic/entertainment/walt-disney-PEHST002298.topic">Walt Disney</a>'s 1941 trip to South America by request of the U.S. government. Following will be a rare screening of "Saludos Amigos," an animated feature starring <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEFCC000027" title="Goofy (fictional animal)" href="/topic/entertainment/goofy-%28fictional-animal%29-PEFCC000027.topic">Goofy</a> and <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PEFCC000026" title="Donald Duck (fictional animal)" href="/topic/entertainment/donald-duck-%28fictional-animal%29-PEFCC000026.topic">Donald Duck</a> that was inspired by Walt's goodwill expedition south of the equator.
