Tim Coffey, a Stamford photographer, takes political animals and puts them in their natural habitats.
Coffee has a new exhibit of his photographs, opening on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Concourse Gallery of the State Capitol Building in Hartford. It's called "Political Landscape." He has taken photographs of 51 Connecticut politicians in the towns they represent. Each photo is accompanied by a quote about the state of politics in Connecticut.
The show will also be viewable online at http://www.politicallandscape.net. It wil be up at the Capitol, at 210 Capitol Ave., until Thursday, Aug. 30
Among those featured are Dannell P. Malloy, M. Jodi Rell, Lowell Weicker, Susan Bysiewicz, Pedro Segarra, Joe Lieberman, Donald Williams, Andrew Roraback, Edith Prague, Toni Harp, Tony Guglielmo, Eric Coleman, Joan Hartley, Kevin Witkos and Andrew Maynard; State Representatives Brendan Sharkey, Themis Klarides, Toni Walker, Vincent Candelora, Gary Holder-Winfield, Sean Williams and Penny Bacchiochi.
