Started 14 games on a talent-packed 2000-01 team, but helped lead it to the Final Four by averaging 10.9 points and shooting 38.6 percent on three-pointers. She led the team in free throw percentage.
Svetlana Abrosimova (1997-98)
Scored 538 points (14.5) in 37 games, second only to Moore (678) among freshmen scorers in program history. Her 235 rebounds are third all-time behind Tina Charles and Moore and her 90 steals are second behind Nykesha Sales. Made the Big East's all-tournament team.
Tamika Williams (1998-99)
Started 19 games, averaging 22.4 minutes, 13.5 points and 6.8 rebounds. Named freshman of the year by The Sporting News and Big East. She scored a career-high 25 points against Miami on Feb. 6 as a freshman.
Rebecca Lobo (1991-92)
Unanimous pick as Big East rookie of the year after leading the team in rebounding and blocked shots. She set the record, at that time, by being the Big East's rookie of the week seven times, the first time any UConn player had been chosen more than four times.
