“Strange Natures,” an exhibit of work by Melissa Brown, Fritz Horstman, Joseph Smolinksi, Anahita Vossougi and the collaborative team of Johannes DeYoung and Natalie Westbrook, will be at Institute Library, 847 Chapel St. in New Haven
, from Saturday, May 18, when it will open with a reception from noon to 2 p.m., until Saturday, June 15.
The exhibit is all about landscape and natural forms, twisted to reveal strange worlds.
This is “Diamond Head” by Westbrook and DeYoung. Hartford-area arts lovers will remember DeYoung from an odd exhibit he had last year at Real Art Ways
, “Ego Loser.”
Gallery hours are weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
