What To Watch
Payback In Cincy: With a stinging OT loss to UConn still so fresh, look for the Bearcats, who need this game for tournament purposes, to come out angry before their home crowd.
Hurting Huskies: UConn, thin to begin with, has a number of players with nagging injuries. Napier's right foot is the most serious, Calhoun's right wrist still isn't right, Giffey has a sore knee, among others. The season is taking its toll.
Hoya Hangover: UConn is coming off an all-out effort, but a heartbreaking loss to Georgetown. Can the Huskies heal mentally and bounce back after one practice?
Boat Show On Defense: Boatright drew high praise from his coach for shutting down Cashmere Wright in the second half and OT on Feb. 21. Look for that matchup again, and look for Cincinnati to make adjustments to try to keep Wright involved
Rebounding Edge: UConn outrebounded Georgetown by 10, but lost. They were outrebounded by Cincinnati by 16, but won. Go figure. The Huskies need continued rebounding progress. Coach Kevin Ollie is going more and more with a smaller frontcourt, with Giffey and Daniels in together.
