  15. Hoops for Heart

    Conemaugh Township students and faculty raised more than $6,700 for the American Heart Association with their annual Hoops for Heart 3-on-3 basketball tournament, which was played at the high school on Wednesday. Of the 56 students involved, Isaac Callihan was the top fundraiser with $395, which brings  the total raised by township students to more than $77,000. Organizers say that the tournament has been going on for close to 20 years. The team that won the championship game and remained undefeated included Matt Bridge, Ryan Grosik, Jeff Fisher, Andrew Gowarty and Mick Sanders.
