  21. The Make A Wish Foundation does it again

    It was a picture-perfect day for 18-year old Lesly. She was picked up by a limo, followed by a little shopping, then some pampering at the Beauty Indulgence Day Spa, before her big photo shoot with LoveBud PhotographY. It sounds like any girls dream-day. She didn't win any contest though. In fact, it's quite the opposite. She has sickle cell disease, which means her cells are abnormally shaped, causing her a great deal of pain and problems with her organs. The Make A Wish Foundation gave Lesly a day to forget about her problems, and feel normal. Another wish... granted!
