  19. Man flown from scene of forklift accident

    A middle-aged man was flown from A-1 Auto Wreckers in Stoystown Monday after a forklift accident. Officials said the man, whose name has not been released, was working on a forklift when a piece of the machine fell on top of him. He suffered several injuries, including a leg injury and an arm fracture, according to Stoystown fire Chief Dave Johnson. The man was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, to be treated for his injuries. Stoystown fire department, Hooversville rescue, Boswell ambulance, Conemaugh Township EMS and Shade Township Police Department responded to the scene, according to Somerset County Control.
