Betty Carleda Weller, 83, of Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at her home.
Born May 3, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Julia D. Warner Baker.
She was a 1946 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She retired in 1990 from Kmart.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Weller; a daughter, Susan M. Sensel and husband, Bill, of Sykesville, Md.; a stepdaughter, Patricia Harman of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Ralph “Sam” Baker and wife, Betty, of St. James, Md.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Ecton and Louise Metz; and six brothers, George Baker, Albert Baker Jr., Robert Baker, Walter Baker, Charles Baker and James Baker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Nancy J. Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
