Mrs. Christena Belle (Staines) McClure, 94, a resident of Williamsport Retirement Village, Williamsport, Md., and formerly of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.
Born Oct. 12, 1918, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Bessie (Rohrer) Stains.
Mrs. McClure retired from Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro, where she had been employed for a number of years.
She was a former member of First Christian Church, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1191 Ladies Auxiliary, Waynesboro, and former member of American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary, Funkstown, Md.
Mrs. McClure is survived by four children, Michael Ray McClure of Rouzerville, Pa., Vicki Kay Miller of Clear Spring, Md., Rose Marie McKee of Jacksonville, Fla., and Theresa Lee Slater of Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charles R. McClure; one grandson; two sisters; and two brothers.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
