St. Ann Catholic Church will hold its Family Fun Festival Saturday, June 18, from noon to 9 p.m
The event will feature music by local bands and a DJ all day. There will also be games for children and adults, such as balloon darts, toilet paper toss, cake walk, softball toss, limbo stick and face painting. There will be tip jars and a chance to win a $1,000 cash raffle.
Italian sausages, zeppoles, snow cones, popcorn, burgers and fries will be available.

With a loss of 6.4 pounds, Judy G. led TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 0446 to a weekly loss of 11.2 pounds. Mary led the program titled "The Bottom Line." The group welcomed George as a new member.

Vacation Bible School
St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and Emmanuel United Methodist Church are planning a vacation Bible school from June 12 to 16 at St. Andrew's, 1020 Maryland Ave. in Hagerstown.
It will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day. The theme is "Shake It Up Cafe: Where Kids Carry Out God's Recipe."
Classes are for those ages 4 to adult with music, recreation, crafts, story-telling, Bible study and snacks each night.
All are welcome.
TOPS Chapter 0077 held its regular meeting May 23. The "losers" in attendance combined for 33.5 pounds.
Top losers were Janice F. and Cheryl B. Janice won the get-r-done prize.
The group heard a presentation from Breast Cancer Awareness — Cumberland Valley. The TOPS group meets Mondays at 9:30 a.m. at First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave. in Hagerstown.

Morris Frock Unit 42 American Legion Auxiliary will hold its next meeting at the post on Tuesday, June 7, at 7 p.m., preceded by a light supper prepared by the officers.
Election of officers will be the main item of business, as well as the announcement of local scholarship winners.

The following members were presented with service awards at the annual volunteer recognition banquet for the Martinsburg (W.Va.) Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics, which was held May 15 at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg:
Pauline Baker — 750 hours; Betty DeLauter — 29 years of volunteering, 4,155 hours; Marilyn Hembrock — 10 years, 1,617 hours; and Dolores Stinebaugh — 11 years, 1,334 hours.
DeLauter received a 4,000-hour Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
She also was awarded the 4,000-hour club award, and was presented the President's Call to Service Award from the office of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation in conjunction with the Corp. for National and Community Service, along with a congratulatory letter from the President Obama.
