Ducks to retire Teemu Selanne's No. 8 jersey in Jan. 11 ceremony

Retired Ducks forward Teemu Selanne will be honored Jan. 11 in a ceremony during which he’ll become the first Anaheim player to have his jersey retired, the Ducks announced Friday. The team said the tribute will be staged when Anaheim plays Selanne’s former team, the Winnipeg Jets, in a 5 p.m. game at Honda Center. Selanne, the team’s all-time leading scorer who was instrumental in helping the Ducks win the Stanley Cup in 2007, will have his No. 8 jersey hoisted to the arena rafters during the ceremony.
