Thank you Crossfit Imperial Valley for all the time, energy and sweat you did on Oct. 20 for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Your “Throw Down for Charity” was a huge success and raised more than $6,000 for RMH.
The participants had to pay an entry fee of $100 or sell an equal amount of raffle tickets. Todd Mitosinka raised $1,300 and Abatti Farms gave a very generous donation of $1,000.
Justin Eyer was top point man at Level 3 for men.
Pam Littrell was top point woman at Level 2 for women.
George Morris was top point man at Level 2 for men.
Esmeralda Castro was top point woman at Level 1 for women.
Matt Littrell was top point man at Level 1 for men.
Cole Pfister was top point teen.
RMH would like to extend a very special “Thank You” to the following for their generous donations for the raffle: Junior’s Café, Carino’s Italian Grill, Chili’s, Johnny’s Burritos (Imperial), Sun Community Federal Credit Union (El Centro), Moonlight Photography and Valley Vision Care (El Centro). Their donations certainly added to the success of the event.
A very special thank you to Malee Amundson of Crossfit and her staff and volunteers for a very successful event.
Sandy Camarillo, chief operating officer, and Gabi Rivers, house manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities, came from San Diego with additional prizes.
Local volunteers were also present.
