PROVO, Utah —
Using a no-huddle offense, BYU crushed Washington State 30-6 to spoil WSU coach Mike Leach’s debut Thursday night.
BYU quarterback Riley Nelson completed 25 of 36 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns, while the WSU offense was nearly non-existent.
Defensively, BYU came up with two interceptions and blocked a punt.
Washington State will host Eastern Washington University on Sept. 8
