Runaway Bunny! Hugh Hefner's betrothed bunny, Crystal Harris, has called off the wedding. Hefner, 85, and Harris, 25 were supposed to get hitched at the Playboy mansion, this Saturday, but they confirmed their surprise split on Twitter, Tuesday.
The rumors were swirling that Harris was doing the hippity hop with Dr. Phil's songwriting son, Jordan McGraw. Supposedly, the two were spotted getting cozy at the Chateau Marmont on March 12th. According to Life & Style McGraw was seen kissing her shoulder and trying to hold her hand.
Harris' camp denies the rumors. "That is absolutely not true," Harris' manager Michael Blakey said when asked if she was dating McGraw. "It's a complete fabrication."
Blakey said Harris hopped out of the mansion on Monday. "It was an amicable split up, and they will remain good friends," Blakey told the Daily News.
"After much deep reflection and thought, I have decided to end my engagement with Hef," Harris said in a statement on her website. "I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward."
Her cold feet came after the couple mailed custom Swarovski crystal-encrusted invitations to more than 300 guests.
"The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart," the founder of the skin mag empire wrote Tuesday on Twitter. He later shot down reports the couple had parted ways in a nasty fight, tweeting, "There were no arguments."
The couple had been dating for a year before becoming engaged in December.
Harris was Playmate of the Month in December 2009 and released her "Club Queen" dance single Tuesday.
Blakey said it was "more coincidence than anything else" that the breakup coincided with the song's debut.
