A Georgia mother is going to trial after her baby started laughing in a library.
Donnetta Foster, 20, was thrown out of the Decatur library after she said her 14-month-old son, Savon, started giggling while looking at an animal flash card, last October.
Foster, a full-time student at Georgia Perimeter at the time, told police she was using the computers at the library to look for a job when her son began laughing.
She told Fox 5 news, a librarian insisted she quiet the baby and leave, and eventually shut down the computer she was working on.
Police arrived on the scene after Foster refused to leave. According to the report Foster was cursing and disorderly, so they arrested her.
Foster admits she was upset and yelled and cursed, but says she was justified and emotional.
A jury will now decide when the trial begins September 13th. Foster faces a year in jail if convicted of obstruction of a police officer.
