Why Spay/Neuter? 70,000 puppies and kittens are born every day in the United States alone. Compared to only 10,000 human births a day, it is clear that there will never be enough homes for all these animals. Spaying and neutering will directly prevent thousands of animals from being born into a life of helplessness, suffering and destruction. Almost 8,000,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year because there are not homes for them. Allowing your pet to have even one litter will contribute to the tragedy of animal overpopulation. Please be humane - have your pets spay or neutered!
