After rumors swirled and tabloid photos emerged, it's official – Kat Von D and Jesse James are together.
The couple stepped out for the opening of her Wonderlust art gallery in West Hollywood on Thursday and were holding hands and posing for photos.
Von D, star of the reality show "LA Ink," told Us Weekly that she is happy with James, who she met six years ago on the set of his show "Monster Garage," and that their getting together was "spontaneous."
The James-Von D outing took place two days after Sandra Bullock appeared on the "Today Show" and kept quiet about her past relationship with James. Bullock only spoke about her son, Louie, who she swooned over and called "a little Cajun cookie."
Von D visited James' home in Austin, TX, last weekend (Bullock also has a home in Austin) and spent time with his three older children. According to the interview, Von D doesn't care what people have to say about her new romance.
"I think I learned a long time ago that it really doesn't matter in the big picture (what anybody thinks)," she said. "I just want to lead by example and do my best."
