MGM and Weigel Broadcasting launched THIS TV Network as a 24/7 digital movie channel in 2009. KTLA began airing THIS TV on its sub-channel 5.3 (previously 5.2) on March 26, 2009. KTLA does not own or operate THIS TV and we do not create the programming lineup.
THIS TV's primary focus is on classic films. THIS TV features movies from the film libraries of MGM, United Artists, Orion Pictures, Polygram, Cannon and Samuel Goldwyn Films. They do air a few classic television shows during the overnight hours as filler. These include Mister Ed, The Patty Duke Show, Highway Patrol, Bat Masterson, Sea Hunt and The Outer Limits.
THIS TV is currently airing programming from the MGM library and thus does not have access to all old films and shows and cannot take requests. There are lots of other networks out there that own the rights to some of the other films and shows.
Visit their website at www.thistv.com for more information and for TV listings to see when your favorite movies are airing or repeating in your time zone. Please note, the listings are in Eastern Time, but you can customize them for your time zone. Just go to the upper right side where it says "Is This Your Channel" and select KTLA. Then hit schedule and it will automatically adjust the schedule for the Pacific Time Zone.
KTLA broadcasts THIS TV on its digital subchannel 5.3 in the Los Angeles market only. If you are watching THIS TV in another state, please contact your own local station that provides you with the THIS TV signal to answer your questions.
If you use a converter box and are not seeing Antenna TV 5.2 or THIS TV 5.3 subchannels, please try doing a channel rescan.

Not all of the programming on THIS TV has closed captioning. Older films and shows are exempt from the rule and new networks get 4 years to become fully compliant. THIS TV is working to have more shows and movies closed captioned, but it will take time to do this.
