TEMECULA, Calif. (KTLA) -- A man entered an area bank Thursday morning demanding money from a teller, according to officials.

Authorities responded to the Provident Bank located at 40705 Winchester Road at 9:41 a.m. minutes after receiving report of a bank robbery.

The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect left the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was wearing a white hat with a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a white and black canvas bag.

No weapons were involved.

Investigators from the Temecula Police Department, along with FBI Agents, responded to the scene and continued the investigation.
