During its annual Media Open House, the San Francisco Giants unveiled this week a number of off-season improvements to AT&T Park to keep the fan experience fresh and contemporary.

Social media is a main focus for the team.  Whether you go to a Giants game to be seen, or see the game.  AT&T has again dumped in millions of dollars to help fans stay connected at the ballpark.

Either through texting, picture messaging, facebook or twitter, the team wants the high-tech experience at a game to be… well, high-tech.

Fans who regularly visit the ballpark may notice a much wider, friendlier Promenade Level.  But every guy will want to check out the bathroom with a view.  Not of the game unfortunately, but looking east toward the Bay Bridge.

Bobblehead nights are hardly a thing of the past, but the Giants say the hottest trend in promotional giveaways are garden gnomes.  A Brian Wilson gnome will be handed out May 20th and Pablo Sandoval will have his gnome given away September 22nd.

The 13th season at AT&T Park will be a memorable one, and it begins April 13th with the home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
